Meet the Team

Media Lab instructor Cane Prevost

I’ve always been passionate about art and creativity. I have been drawing and painting since I was very young. I pursued my love of art at University of Louisiana and Auburn University, eventually earning a masters degree in fine art.

I love working in all mediums from photography, to design, to video production and more. Sharing that love with students is something I’m grateful for every day. I believe everyone is creative and capable of making great art. Building a community where that happens is my passion.

I was born in the backwoods of Arkansas, educated in the Everglades of Florida, and ultimately migrated to the evergreen hills of Oregon, which I’ve called home for the past 13 years.

Another place I call home is CAL, where I teach Language Arts, Marketing, and Audio Engineering, an opportunity CAL gave me after learning about my background in recording and performing music for over 20 years.
