The CAL Governing Board plays a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of the school. Responsibilities include establishing and approving policies, providing oversight of CAL’s mission and goals, reviewing budgets, supporting program development, guiding marketing efforts, and advising on facility improvements.

Board meetings are held quarterly at CAL on the last Tuesday of October, January, March, and May. An annual board retreat is held each August. The CAL Director attends all meetings and reports directly to the board.
